it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Distance learning isn't created equal! Distance learning when my Special Education students don't have access to computers, tablets or internet is heartbreaking! I never thought that I would have a YouTube Channel, or make online lessons and voice recored questions and answer choices just hoping that 12 out of 37 kids would actually be able see my lessons or videos. Who knew having just three kids be able to tune into my read aloud lesson would make me so excited. If all of my kids would have access to the correct learning tools whether they be paper packets or via internet we would be back in teacher/student heaven.
My Project
These tools will allow my students to participate in my Distance Learning Lessons without any hiccups! This past year I was able to see some of my students but not hear them. If all of my kiddos had their own white boards and markers they could hold up their answers for me to see. Having my kids feel left out when I couldn't hear their answers was disheartening. If my kids are able to have their own "learning packs" given to them they will never have to feel like they aren't part of the class.
