This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a lively group of kindergartners that enjoy learning. They come from low income households and qualify for 100% free breakfast and lunch. Currently, the district is offering the Grab and Go meals for every student to get free meals Monday through Fridays.
I am so proud of my students for transitioning to online learning as they are actively learning through our zoom courses.
My students and their families would appreciate your support with greatly needed resources and supplies to keep my students active as they are faced with this pandemic.
My Project
The Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) community has created many valuable resources. I would like to use the gift the card to purchase phonics, math, science and health resources to begin using them during distance learning.
Teachers Pay Teachers cuts down on the prep work and allows me to have more instructional time.
I will purchase standards aligned resources such as sound-letter correspondence, sentence writing, emergent reading text, number recognition, composing and decomposing activities, plant life cycle and social emotional activities.
