My students are creative thinkers, energetic learners and are compassionate. I work in school with large concentrations of low-income students who receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting their educational goals.
In our classroom we come together to grow as learners.
We spend each day investigating, designing, and developing our strategies and skills.
Our classroom setting has been developed to provide a warm inviting place for students to want to learn and succeed in. I try to incorporate items into our class environment that will promote creativity, abstract thinking, and inclusive environment.
My Project
I am a remote teacher for this school year. We have found many ways to learn together using technology resources. My students have an assortment of devices they are using. Many students have been issued iPads form the New York City Department of Education to learn from home. I only have a school issued and personal laptop to use to demonstrate and model. This makes it very challenging for my iPad users. Please help me visualize the steps and utilize the resources their ipads have by modeling with an iPad through distance learning and my already funded Document Camera.
