This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a school located in the heart of San Diego with 100% of our student population receiving free lunch. My students are some of the most amazing students that you will ever meet. They are from all over the world. Many came to this country to escape hardships in their countries. My students want to learn so badly and I will stop at nothing to provide them with the best education that I possibly can.

Every donation you make to our class helps make it possible for a child to access learning in a way that they may not have gotten otherwise.

My Project

Please help to provide paper and crayons to the students of my school.

Many of our students do not have the tools needed to learn from home.

By giving them these two simple things, it will allow them to take part in learning as well as bring some color into their work.

With the school closures, teachers are not allowed back into our classrooms to get anything. We found out about the closures hours before it happened. We were scrambling to get work together as well as books for our students to read. It didn't even enter our mind about supplies that would be needed for these tasks. I know our project is a lot but it will help more than 250 students. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
