Distance Learning P.E.

Help me give my students access to health and P.E. lesson plans with a Teacher Pay Teachers gift card. With the current change in educations, we need to update and become more creative to provide fun engaging lessons to our distance learning students.

My Students

I teach physical education at a Title I school in a fully inclusive environment. All of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. The purpose of our physical education classes are to help motivate our students to practice and continue a healthy lifestyle.

With the current teaching and learning environment, our students are either hybrid learning or 100% distance learning.

For our 100% distance learners, our P.E. supplies/resources are very limited due to the ever changing needs during this current time. We have had to become creative and teach P.E. in a different way to connect students to content while being mindful of all students home environments.

We also have many English language learners at our site. In order to continually support our English language learners across content areas, we continually implement various strategies in P.E. to help support their language development. We want to help support all our students in all areas of their life and help them become life

My Project

These materials I will purchase with these gift cards will help make a difference for my students by offering different fun ways to connect through physical activity and health. Providing attracting lessons will gain students interests and provide lasting lessons during this time when students need support the most. Becoming more creative in approach to distance learning P.E. has its struggles but finding other avenues to deliver positive lessons can sparks students interest. Thus, students are still able to fully engage while participating in their home environment and not missing out on important lessons or messages that are provided through P.E.
