This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a 5th grade class. This year we are starting virtually using google classroom which is new to me and my students. This year I will not be able to meet my students personally and teach them face to face. Also, the curriculum we have is not flexible enough to transfer it to google classroom app.
This semester will be a great challenge for both my students and me starting our year virtually.
I know that my students are eager to learn and be challenged in a virtual setting. I want them to have the resources they need and also be able to learn from home.
My Project
The materials I am requesting for my students and to help them and me their teacher deliver virtual lessons and help them learn from home. These resources will make it easier for them to understand and work on fifth grade material from home. These materials are already designed to be used with the online program we are using to deliver the lessons and for students to work online and turn in their work easily. Students will feel confident using these resources and will find them easy to manage from home.
