My Students
My Pre-k students are inquisitive, friendly and very enthusiastic about learning. Currently, my students are learning to write simple sentences, adding numbers and creating patterns. They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in our new normal distance remote learning platform. On March 17th, my students transitioned to learning at home. Schools are closed due to the COVID-19 virus for the remaining school year. This presents a challenge, as most of my students do not have access to supplies in their homes.
My Project
The world is experiencing a pandemic, but I will not stop helping my students learn the skills they need to be successful in life. My students are learning how to read, write, and do simple addition and subtraction. They are problem solvers. Math manipulative’s and alphabet letter cards will help them continue to problem solve at home. Unfortunately, many of my students do not have access to these items. Therefore, it is very important that they have the resources to help them grasp the concepts and skills needed to succeed in the next school year.
