Distance Learning Laptop

Help me give my students and me a Macbook Pro to support distance learning as we enter a new school year.

My Students

My middle school students have been learning remotely from their homes with laptops distributed by our schools. The closure due to Covid has taken away the interactivity they usually have with each other. Our classroom centers around discovery and innovation. They love learning new information and enjoy thinking of new ways to solve problems.

My Project

Please help me get a laptop in order to continue effectively teaching remotely. Our district received technology more than 8 years ago for us teachers to use on a daily basis. With the shift to digital learning, my school provided laptop is outdated. I also have run into issues with multiple applications being open at one time in order for me to teach my lessons effectively. A new laptop with a faster processing rate will allow for smoother transitions between activities with less wait time.

More than for learning, right now the laptop is a way for students to stay connected with me and feel happier given these circumstances.

Please help me provide my students with the technology we need and deserve!!!
