My Students

Our students are imaginative and fun-loving kids. They are in a low-income/high poverty school, and are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Many of my students don't have the ability to learn online due to inequities in the city.

Many depend on worksheet packets and whatever books they have at home. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners. This is one way we know these budding kinders can learn during these uncertain times. This will also give us more time to get families connected to technology without learning stopping.

My Project

Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the shelter in place order. My students need a variety of books to read, math games and math materials, reading comprehension books, and hands-on learning materials.

My students need Summer Bridge Activities to complete during the summer months.

My students need kits that contain grade-level reading material. These kits also contain hands-on learning materials that make learning exciting! These materials will be mailed directly to my student's home.
