Help me give my students Alphabet Sound Teaching Tubs, Building Language Lotto, Language Activity Boxes, Counting Cones, Giant Magnetic Writing Page, Brush kit, Caddies, a laminating machine and pouches.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It's hard to believe that Friday, March 13 was going to be our last day of school. I told my students before they left that I would see them soon. Never did I imagine that would not be the case. Although we are not going back to school this year, we haven't stopped learning.
My students and I have explored distant learning for the past few weeks.
We are currently exploring a variety of online platforms and learning many new things. My students and I participate in Zoom meetings two times a week. We review previous lessons and learn new ones too. My students get excited to see their friends and engage in new activities during our distance learning Zoom sessions.
My Project
I will use the Alphabet Sound Teaching Tubs to help my student learn beginning sounds of objects. I will use the Building Language Lotto and the Early Language Activity boxes to help my students build rich vocabulary. The Counting Cones and Math Activity Center will teach my students math skills such as counting and sorting.
The Giant Magnetic Writing Page will help me model lessons for my students.
The caddies will help me stay organized during our distance learning. The laminating machine and pouches will allow me to laminate samples to reuse for future lessons. The brush Demonstration Kit will allow me to show my students the proper way to brush their teeth daily.
