Help me give my students access to materials to help make distance learning more engaging and hands on for them. I plan to print, create and mail items to my students.
I work with students ages 3-5 in a California State Preschool setting in sunny Southern California. We have both typically developing children, as well as a high population of English Language Learners and children with special needs in our classrooms.
Preschool is such a critical time in a child's development.
Our students are developing the foundation for future school success. This year we will face new challenges in developing this critical foundation for our students academic success as we begin our adventures in distance learning!
My Project
I would like to create some printed manipulative materials to send home to my preschool students in distance learning to make our lessons more hands on, interactive and engaging for them.
Many of my families do not have materials at home such as alphabet manipulatives or number manipulatives/counters, etc so I would like to make paper alternatives for them to be used throughout our year in distance learning.
Preschool is an important part of future school success and I would greatly appreciate your support in this project this year!
