This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My bilingual pre-k students come from low income households. Some of my students are missing the online distance instruction because they do not have technology resources at home and they depend on hard copy worksheets or work books to keep enriching themselves. Despite the school being close they love to learn.
My Project
Since March my students and I have been using Zoom everyday. I have some students that are not able to connect or complete online activities because they do not have technology at home. Some of my students complete the assignments on their parents' phone making this so difficult.
My students will benefit having the tablets, they will be able to connect every day virtually.
They love to see each other and talk to each other. Also the tablets will help them to complete the assignments that I post daily and to be able to play all the educational programs that my school district offers.
