My Students
I teach in the School District of Philadelphia. I have been teaching sixth grade for many years in the community and I love every moment of it. My students are compassionate and they love to read. In addition, they are fun to be around and curious.
Whether at school or at home, when it comes to education we try hard to Be Responsible, Be Prepared, and Be Respectful.
While we are teaching online and students are learning from home, I want us to all be successful on this journey.
My Project
Study.com membership will help my students and I become successful during distant learning. As I am teaching my students in Google Classroom I am exploring different ways to address their needs, teach them well by using technology, keep them focused and engaged. The lessons that Study.com provides are well suited to teaching online. They have awesome distance learning resources such as at home learning guided reading as well as games, activities, and award winning books. The video lesson plans are fun and interesting. They help students stay focused and motivated.
