Hello,
My name is Ms. Hyska and I am a New York City high school science teacher.
I have created this DonorsChoose project to procure shark dissection specimens for my Living Environment and A.P. Biology classes.
Hands-on experiences not only increase student engagement, but they also help with the retention and conceptualization of abstract biological processes. Therefore, as my eager students participate in a shark dissection activity, they will deepen their understanding of anatomy and physiology and evolutionary relationships between sharks and other species.
