My students are exploring animal phyla, learning about their ecological importance and their adaptations to our oceans.
The students really get a lot out of dissections, but due to time, budget, and supply constraints, we can't always access humanely harvested specimens.
Using these award winning dissection models will allow our students to more deeply explore anatomy and adaptations of the phyla we study. It will also allow those of us who are challenged by dissecting deceased specimens to participate, and will allow me to continue to use these resources for years to come.
