Distance learning has proved to have many challenges. Every day about a total of 13 students are able to log into our virtual classroom. My students are excited to see each other and want to be back in the classroom.
My students look forward to learning each day.
Those who are unable to log into our Google classroom, are working hard and doing their very best. I try to keep in contact with all my students over various portals. We all miss one another very much.
My Project
I want to make virtual learning memorable and fun for my students. For the last week of school, I want to dissect owl pellets as a class via Google Meets.
My students have been transitioning to virtual learning very well and I want to reward all their hard work.
By sending my students owl pellets, plastic bags, gloves, and popsicle sticks, they will be able to work with me online to dissect the owl pellet and see what kind of things they find. I know my students would love doing such an interesting activity over the computer. I would create each student's kit by placing all the supplies in the envelopes.
