This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are not only readers but writers. They are constantly analyzing text, making connections, identifying the author's purpose and carefully thinking about the various parts of a text. At the end of each week and module, students produce a writing response to the reading. After self-evaluating, peer editing and teacher review, students produce this final piece. The final piece is displayed in the classroom or in the outside bulletin board for all to see. This is a proud moment for each student as they are able to showcase their best work! All of the items selected in this project will be to assist with displaying the student writing on the outside and inside bulletin boards.
