Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in my low incidence cluster classroom are in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. They have Autism, Intellectual Disabilities,, and other disabilities.
Diverse Learners in our classroom work in different groups throughout the school day.
Our classroom Library is placed in bins based off reading level. Small bookstands can help better display books.
Thank you to everyone who makes a donation to our classroom.
My Project
The small display bookshelves will be placed on the top shelf of our Classroom Library. The four shelves will be used to display books of interest for Reading. This will allow students to pick books to read for reading, recess, and Friday Book Reports. The other shelves will help display books that are about concepts we are learning in Science and Social Studies. Another shelf will be for Social Stories. Each shelf will be labeled to help students know where they can look for books.
Thank you for your generous donations, and making a difference to my students.
