This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a diverse population in our classroom. I divide the students into small groups to work on their projects. This couch will provide a convenient space for them to brainstorm and discuss their ideas. They need to feel comfortable to be able to express their thoughts, find solutions, and build new knowledge. Then, they can come up with their action plans and go to their centers to create their projects. This flexible seating will also help with student behavior and count as a reward for the students who worked well within their small groups.
