Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This Carolina Connection Discovery Table I am asking for will enhance my students’ understanding of sensory experiences.
The mirrored part of the table will provide them with self awareness, self esteem while stimulating their inner curiosity.
The deep play table is perfect for kinetic sand and other materials allowing for sensory imput, and lastly the LED light source will allow them to explore light using translucent materials. My students will use this table independently or collaboratively it will challenge them to make their own discoveries about themselves as well as understand their world in a safe environment.
