Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to class each day with curiosity, creativity, and a strong desire to learn through hands-on experiences. They thrive when given the opportunity to actively engage with their learning—whether that means writing, drawing, building, or experimenting.
To support their growth, we need essential supplies like markers, pencils, and paper—basic tools that allow students to express ideas, complete assignments, and participate fully in daily lessons.
These items may seem small, but they are the foundation of learning in an active classroom.
In addition to the basics, my students are especially excited by discovery materials like building sticks and circuit kits. These resources encourage them to think critically, collaborate with peers, and explore STEM concepts in a fun, meaningful way. When they have the tools to build, create, and test their ideas, their engagement and confidence soar.
