This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My ESOL students are highly motivated and always willing to learn and enhance their English language skills. They are hard workers and they strive to improve their communicative competence, as well as their reading skills in English. This is why it is essential that they have all that they need to succeed in my classroom. Electronic devices are essential as they assist them in learning the target language faster.
My Project
During these difficult times, technology has proven to be an invaluable tool to help students continue to enhance their education. This is the reason why I decided to create this project. My students need continuous practice of their English language skills. Therefore, these iPads will continue to provide my ESOL students with the opportunity to enhance their reading comprehension in English. They will be able to practice their reading comprehension in class using the technology that is readily available to them. With these iPads, my students will be able to use online programs, such as iReady and ReadWorks in the classroom.
