Discovering the World From Our Classroom

Help me give my students materials to support their study of maps in our classroom.

My Students

The students at our school are amazing! They arrive excited to learn and become involved in whatever topic that is in the plan. We have wonderful support from our parents. We have a very diverse population of students, culturally, economically, and with different learning abilities. It has become my goal to try and stay ahead of them!

My classroom is filled with students of different backgrounds and abilities.

It has become my challenge to see that I keep up with them and help them discover the joys of learning.

My Project

Our class will be meeting in a new room this coming year: a room with blank walls and no supplies already posted around the room.

Our classroom will need maps to help students discover the world.

Maps of not only the United States, but of the world, will help my students imagine where they will be able to travel in the future, as well as discovering where different things happened in the past. They will be able to find the greatest rivers of the world, as well as locating the areas where their ancestors were born.
