This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very curious and creative first and second graders! These materials will help use learn about dinosaurs in our upcoming unit!

We will become paleontologist and dig for dinosaurs with the dinosaur dig kits.

We will become dinosaur experts from reading about dinosaurs. We will use art to show our learning by creating a mural in our classroom. We will use our headphones with our computers to research about dinosaurs. Since we are learning to read, we will listen to books and videos.

All the supplies will be used to enhance and engage my students. "Being a spectator not only deprives one of participation but also leaves one mind free for unrelated activity. If academic learning does not engage students, something else will." -Goodland
