My 26 dynamic diligent scholars desire to learn! These kindergarteners are growing to discover, analyze, and interpret the world around them. My scholars range in ethnicities, but all are eager to discover how to read, write, and understand math.
The scholars attend an Title One school where 90% of the scholars receive free reduced lunch.
They come from all over South Fulton for the opportunity to learn reading, math, writing, and of course, kindness.
Many of my scholars come from financially humble homes but have families that have giant hearts.
My Project
My scholars are discovering reading, writing, and math in a multitude of areas in the school. These groups walk, rotate, and move all around the school. The donation of pencil and chair baggies will help the scholars to have their own class materials to help them to discover the joys of learning.
The scholars need to have access to their materials (pencils, crayons, papers, scissors, etc) as they go from area to area.
In the same light, scholars can use their pencil baggies and chair baggies in the library when we go for big book readings or even story hour.
