This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting this science discovery shelf to add to my transitional kindergarten classroom. I am working to set up a developmentally appropriate learning environment in my classroom for my four year old students. My students spend their day learning through play and discovery. I would love to provide them a science interest area in the classroom. Students would get to experience hands on experiences such as insects, plants, rocks, lights, magnets, animals, etc in this interest area. This shelf will allow me to set up the area so it can be accessible for children to use and explore independently. I appreciate any/all the support in creating an appropriate learning environment for my young learners who enjoy learning about the world around them.
