This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students will immerse themselves in the exciting world of space exploration by designing and creating dioramas of a Mars basecamp. Through research, collaboration, and hands-on artistic expression, students will develop a deeper understanding of the challenges and possibilities of life on Mars.

This project will not only enhance their knowledge of science and engineering principles but also ignite their imagination as they craft narratives set within their Mars basecamp dioramas.

This project will provide our students with a unique opportunity to integrate science, art, and storytelling in a meaningful and engaging way. By immersing themselves in the exploration of Mars, they will develop a deeper appreciation for STEM disciplines and cultivate essential 21st-century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. Furthermore, this project will foster a sense of curiosity, wonder, and ambition as our students envision themselves as future scientists, engineers, and explorers pushing the boundaries of human knowledge and understanding.
