Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of my favorite things to do throughout the school year is to provide my students with a classroom transformation. This allows my students to see learning in a fun and innovative way! I like to do them once a month so students can help immerse themselves with the theme that I have for the week. I am requesting classroom decor. Dinosaurs is a topic that students really enjoy talking about. I have safari vests and hats and binoculars for students to wear to help fit the part of a being in a safari. I adapt my schools curriculum to help match theme!

A lot of planning goes into this and I enjoy seeing my students reactions!

This helps boost engagement in our curriculum and allows students to think outside the box!

The joy and the excitement that my students get when they see how I flipped the classroom makes my heart super happy for all the behind the scenes work!
