My Students
Dinosaur mania is everywhere nowadays, especially with my youngest student scientists! My students work super hard and are excited and eager to learn.
This project aims to put dinosaur manipulatives into the hands of my eager students, and save them a trip to an indoor museum.
Color, shape, and up-to-date research are all at work with this project. Do I think these materials are essential for voracious STEAM students? You bet!
My Project
The study of dinosaurs is not specifically required by our school district, despite the fact that it is the hands-down favorite science topic of my young scientists' active lives. For years now, I have struggled to include enough exposure to dinosaur research into my science lessons. I am requesting materials to support the very best in three-dimensional dinosaur research and models.
This project harnesses the latest in paleontology with vigor, by placing hardback research books and dinosaur models into young students' hands.
I am requesting books that are jam-packed with illustrations and diagrams that reflect the latest in dinosaur know-how, perfect for emerging readers. And, the colorfully-painted models also support this research, allowing students to imagine their own dinosaur interactions. Pretty cool!
