This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are the future of our community. They are serious about learning all they can about math, science, reading and writing. We are fortunate to live in a time where the information is easily accessible to us via applications on one single device.
An iPad, along with it’s utilities will be used to help my students explore, learn and conduct appropriate research to enhance their learning.
Many of the application that are available are a valuable resource that students need to have to succeed in the future. My students will be able to learn to use the iPad appropriately while conducting research and project-based learning. The iPad is a tool that goes beyond the cell phone. The iPad will be easy to use for team presentations. This iPad will also be a great use in the classroom to support student guided practice and modeling during their math class. The science class will use this technology to show high definition videos to support their learning and understanding of the universe.
