Digital Tools for Emotional Growth: Bringing iPads to Counseling Program

Help me give my students two iPads to help them to access a wide variety of apps designed to teach and reinforce social-emotional learning (SEL) skills.

My Project

In my counseling program my students will use these iPads to access interactive tools and resources that help them express their feelings, build self-awareness, and solve problems. Art therapy can be a valuable approach in school counseling, allowing children to express their emotions non-verbally.

iPads can support this by providing digital art tools that allow students to draw, paint, or create visuals that represent their feelings.

There are various educational games and activities that can be used to teach coping mechanisms in a fun and engaging way. Games that focus on managing anxiety, stress, or building resilience can keep younger students engaged while learning vital life skills. Offering variety to my students is imporant.
