Digital Thermometers and Glue Needed for Our Many Activities
Help me give my students digital thermometers and hot glue gun sticks for the many labs and activities we perform together. Most of our current digital thermometers no longer work and we are very low on glue.

Our students are in need of new digital thermometers to replace the current ones we have.
We are also very low on hot glue gun sticks.
All year long we perform many labs and activities that require taking temperature data. All of our units (Chemistry, Physical Science, Life Science, and Earth Science) contain labs and activities where students need to take temperatures of liquids and gases, specifically when taking readings for how temperatures of substances change both before and after chemical reactions.
The current thermometers we use are old and many no longer work. This set would help approximately 300 students in grades 5-8.
We are also in need of more hot glue gun sticks. Currently, my 7th grade students are building model bridges, and my 8th grade students are building model houses. These projects are designed to help my students learn about the engineering and design process, forces, loads, and scale and proportion.
Our students are a diverse group of mostly urban students. Days when we perform labs and activities are very much a special time of learning, and create moments when our students are particularly engaged in their learning.
