Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
First Graders! When it comes to First grade, phonics and phonemic awareness are my top priority! As well as writing and getting them ready for second grade! This year I have 17 wonderful, bright, aspiring students. They are teaching ME something new about them everyday!
What I love about my students is that they are always interested in learning in our class!
My students surprise me everyday, and I enjoy every minute I have them in my class!
My Project
Because we are virtually teaching, resources are harder to get to my students. Teachers pay teacher offers several resources for ALL subjects. It will help me get my students engaged in the learning process as we navigate through this online journey together. I'm trying to do all I can to be able to support my students virtually till they are back in my classroom. I hope I can get this project funded to have many resources available to my students. I look forward to making the beginning of this year a smooth transition till we are back in the classroom.
