This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to COVID-19, my school district has implemented an Online Academy to support students who feel more comfortable having a traditional education from the comfort and safety of their home. One of the biggest challenges we run into with our elementary school students is seeing how students physically solve problems and write sentences and paragraphs. One way we can minimize the lack in communication is to provide each student with their own tablet where they can write and solve problems while sharing their work with their teacher. Our goal is to fill gaps and support all students including those at home. Thank you for taking the time to read about our school and provide support for our students.
