Help me give my students digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. Help me enhance distance learning for my first graders by providing them with exciting new activities and lessons that will engage them through zoom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of my incoming first graders were unable to complete their kindergarten year due to school closures. I am left to fill in those missing gaps before I can start building first grade reading skills. In order to do this, I will be using an online platform that allows students to complete their work online and does not require printing or purchasing workbooks. These new resources will help me keep the atudents engaged and motivated during online instruction.
My Project
This new school year is going to be challenging but I am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure my students have all the tools they need to succeed. During distance learning I began using a platform called SeeSaw. I had to purchase many resources for my students to keep them engaged and motivated to continue learning at home. As I prepare for the upcoming school year, I would like to use my TeachersPayTeachers gift card to purchase more resources for my incoming students. They were not able to complete their kindergarten year so I am sure that I will need to make changes to my current plan to accommodate students that may be at a disadvantage. I would like to purchase resources to strengthen their reading and math skills while exposing them to the wonderful world of science and social studies. Help me bring the classroom into the students' homes.
