Digital Projector for Use in Our N.Y.C. Arts Curriculum
My students need a digital projector in order for me to fully implement the N.Y.C. Blueprint for the Arts technology curriculum in my art classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Long's classroom raised $981
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am an art teacher for pre-k through 5th grade in N.Y.C. I am requesting a digital projector in order to bring media technology into the 30 classes I teach weekly. I would use this resource to give slide shows and graphic design instruction for my third to fifth grade classes. This would enable the students to visually experience the direct instructional methods that can only be taught in a whole class environment through a large screen presentation. The visual abilities of a digital projector would also allow students to make classroom critiques of their artwork once it is digitized.
Our school is struggling with the recent budget cuts and we are unable to purchase the projector to use with our laptop computer.
If we had this digital projector my students could leave the classroom on a daily bases and explore the virtual world of technology as well have an instructional tool to enhance their art.
Thank you for considering this proposal, my students will be extremely grateful to you for your support and funding.
