Digital Media Vending Machine

Help me give my students an opportunity to merge technology and art by allowing them to remarket items and stock a vending machine with their ideas.

My Project

Students will take on the role of digital marketers, creating advertising campaigns for common vending machine items like chips, candy, soda, and bottled water. Working in small teams, they will analyze real-world marketing strategies and apply them to their own digital advertisements using graphic design, video editing, and social media-style promotions.

Each team will develop a campaign designed to persuade their classmates to "purchase" their product using fake money.

After presenting their ads to the class, students will distribute their money to the products they find most appealing. At the end of the project, the class will evaluate which marketing strategies were most effective and discuss how digital media influences consumer choices. This project blends creativity, technology, and business concepts, allowing students to explore the power of advertising in an interactive and engaging way.
