My Students

Our school has been for many years a Pre-K through grade 5 community and Title I school servicing children from a Housing Development in Brooklyn.

We are now a Magnet School STEM Studies.

Our focus is on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics integration. As a school of choice, we aim to attract students from diverse social, economic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds. Students from all districts and all boroughs can attend our school.

We prepare students to meet the academic standards and provide for the development of strong character.

My Project

Our library was recently outfitted with a set of Mac computers. However, we do not have headphones or mouse pads. Headphones will reduce the noise level in our Library and the mouse pads will help keep the mice in good condition.

Our Library is available for use by all students and these digital tools and supplies will make a difference in their success and ability to focus on the task at hand when on a computer.

Improving learning is our goal. It will be a challenge to use the technology devices without these tools and an asset with them. The headphones ordered also have a built in mic which will enable students to record themselves reading and conducting interviews.
