This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 7th grade English Language Arts and Reading in 90 minute block classes. It’s safe to say that I have to create lessons that are high interest and engaging for a prolonged period of time…otherwise, I lose my students' attention quick! My students are 21st century learners who want to be challenged! They are technology gurus and love to connect to their learning…whether that be via technology or via a good book!
My Project
In this day and age, teachers are tasked with creating and providing lessons that are both hands on and digital. A lot of times, I find myself looking online for lessons that are interactive and help the students effectively use technology for their learning in my middle school English class. Teachers Pay Teachers is always the first place I look for such lessons! I have personally purchased lessons that include digital escape rooms (which the students LOVE) and digital jeopardy games for reviews. Please help me continue to be able to provide these types of lessons to our future leaders!
