My Students

Friday, March 13, 2020, the last day I was able to “see” my students. Who knew that 10 weeks later we would still be teaching remotely? My students are from Jersey City, NJ and many are struggling to keep up with the new demand of digital learning. As the Library Media Specialist, I would love to be able to better assist my students as well as the teachers in my school. I am very limited with the types of lessons I can plan because of my outdated equipment.

My Project

My students deserve the absolute best and that is what I am trying to provide them. I want to be able to create engaging digital lessons that will help my students be as successful as possible while working from home. I want to be able to video chat with my students and assist them through their assignments, in turn, also helping their parents navigate these uncharted waters. Technology is vital right now in providing my students every opportunity to learn as if nothing has changed for them. I need better equipment to be able to communicate with my students on a higher level.
