Help me give my students tablets. This will benefit in educating them on how to use technology and help the students who may need more individualize instruction!
My students come from a diverse background. We are a 1st grade classroom on a military installation. Our school is low tech facility trying to educate a digital generation.
My students are energetic, creative, and eager to learn.
They have a passion for engaging with art and technology. They are learning ways to interact with new friends; as the students in our school are constantly changing. This can make it difficult for them to develop meaningful relationships with the staff and other students.
My Project
These tablets will give the students the ability to bring more technology into our classroom. It is highly important that the students are given opportunities to develop their technological skills as well as enhancing their reading and math skills in an engaging way.
The tablets will be used for the students to engage more technology.
Students will be given the opportunity to engage in research projects that are aligned with our curriculum. In addition, to use Lexia and Math Whizz to further enrich their literacy and mathematic skills.
These materials would benefit our classroom by allowing us to have the technology we need in our classroom, as we are limited on the amount of technology in our room.
