Help me give my students the ability to take quality photos for their projects and the yearbook!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Whaley's classroom raised $519

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Title I 8th grade students will be learning photography, graphic design, the fundamentals of journalism and how to create a yearbook! In order to see the world through anything other than a cell phone, we have created a look into the world of design careers through our Yearbook Class. We desperately need cameras so that the students can learn proper photography techniques.
Our population tends to be very transient, and we have many English Language Learners; plugging them into the world of digital design has a way of capturing their attention and dedication unlike any other medium.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
