Help me give my students the boost they need to be successful! The tablets will allow my students to learn at their own pace and level. They will be able to focus on a specific subject area.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 1st grade students will soon begin a new year. I love that they will be excited and nervous about the coming school year. And I will be nervous and excited too! I want to give the students a new learning tool this year.
Most of my students are technology savvy.
The students enjoy going to the computer lab in school. They work on programs such a Star Fall and ABCYA. I'm sure the students will enjoy working on tablets during small group time.
My Project
The tablets for my project will be used to help my students in areas that need improvement. My students will be able to visit websites such as Star Fall and ABCYA. The students won't have to wait to go to the computer lab to work on the websites. They will be able to use the tablets during small group time in our classroom.
I will be able to differentiate learning using the tablets.
Each student can work on an area they need help such as phonics, rhyming, letter identification, reading, or math skills. The tablets can also challenge those students that are at grade level.
