it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In the Digital Diaries workshop, students will embark on an exciting journey to explore the digital world and discover the endless possibilities it has to offer. Through a series of interactive and engaging activities, girls will learn about the fundamentals of technology, digital tools, and online safety.
The workshop will cover a range of topics, including:
- Introduction to coding and programming concepts where girls will learn to think creatively and develop problem-solving skills
- Digital citizenship and online safety where girls will learn how to navigate the internet safely and responsibly
- Digital media and content creation where girls will learn to express themselves through various forms of digital media, such as photography, videography, and graphic design
- Basic computer skills and software applications where girls will learn to use popular software and apps to create and edit digital content
Throughout the workshop, girls will have the opportunity to work on hands-on projects such as building their own websites, creating digital art, and producing short videos. They will also learn how to save and organize their digital work and how to use digital tools to enhance their learning and creativity.
The workshop will be led by experienced instructors who are passionate about empowering girls to become confident and competent digital citizens. The goal of the workshop is to provide girls with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate the digital world with ease and to pursue their interests and passions in technology and digital media.
Overall, the Digital Diaries workshop is designed to inspire and empower girls to become active participants in the digital world and to provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an increasingly digital society.
