Digital Design and Creation via Cricut!

Help me give my students another way to enhance and learn about digital design and creation by seeing their designs come to life by "Cricutting" them! The possibilities are endless.

My Project

After teaching 4th grade for 10 years at my school, I was offered the "Media Specialist" position at the school, so I immediately began thinking of ways to enhance student passion and love for all things tech starting with digital design ideas for the whole school! A Cricut is a teacher's best friend, but I would use it for so much more than classroom decor:

- 5th grade graphic design club where students would create original designs and "sell" various products from laptop stickers to decals and even hat/apparel logos!

- Primary grade buttons and other school-wide incentives that include original, student-created artwork that students can earn and display proudly!

- Print out student-created posters for various parts of the school including the hallway, lunchroom, and bathrooms, to improve expected behaviors in those areas.

The possibilities are endless, and I believe the Cricut package would jumpstart my career into the tech teaching world!
