My students need electronic tablets/laptops in order to learn, create, and do all the activities and projects in order to succeed in the 21st Century Educational World.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I want to welcome you to our kindergarten classroom. We have 35 energetic students that are eager to learn. They are an interesting group that loves to explore, sing, dance, and works in an unconventional way. They truly enjoy doing experiments and "hands-on" activities. They love to think "outside the box". Our students are also doing coding on computers, learning how to create and program Apps, learning typing skills, eventually create their individual bar-codes. We have a unique and interesting classroom because at the moment we are the only ones in our school that are using the "21st Century flexible seating" Apart from that we have ESE students, STEAM, And an EFL program incorporated into our classroom. All types of students will benefit from our new digital convergence.
In order for our students to complete their computer lessons, coding, creating Apps, typing skills, and bar-odes, we will need several electronic tablets/laptops.
By incorporating the 21st Century Digital Convergence computer tablets/laptops, our students will definitely be engaged, encouraged, stimulated, and inspired In believing in their dreams and making a brighter future.
My Project
Our classroom has been converting into a 21st Century educational classroom. We started with the resources for flexible seating and it was a complete success. We are currently implementing "coding" to our kindergarten students. Apart from that we are teaching them how to create their own Apps, typing skills, doing homework on computers (going paperless and help save our planet) communication through computers, and eventually incorporate "bar codes".
We want our students to be ready for the future by empowering them to learn how to use electronic tablets/laptops so that they will succeed in creating their own Apps, projects, and digital programming.
By incorporating the seven laptops/tablets, our students will be able to succeed in the 21st Century Digital Convergence. Our students will learn how to "code", create Apps, complete homework, access typing skills and create bar codes. Furthermore we are teaching our young kindergarten students how to communicate digitally and making them aware of saving our planet so that we will have a brighter future.
