This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am an early childhood teacher, currently in a Pre-K classroom for the school year 2021-2022. I have a class of 20 students, primarily composed of English Language Learners. We are a Title I school, which means that 90% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunches.

Currently, I am servicing students in school while keeping health safety protocols in the foreground.

I want to provide my students with the best experience possible during this time of COVID-19. I am in need of adequate materials that will help motivate my students and support my instruction while we are limited on which resources we can use. With your help, I can ensure that my students are receiving the best possible education available to them.

My Project

Currently, I do not have any technology in my class for my students to use. As a PreK teacher, my goal is to teach my students how to be the best students they can be. To accomplish this goal I need to teach them how to take care of technology and use it appropriately while applying digital citizenship skills.

Living in the 21st-century technology is a key tool in our everyday lives.

As children grow up, the use of technology is going to be essential to their success in school. I would love to help them with this and prepare them for their future successes.
