My Students
My students are the best! They have many talents and a desire to learn. They get excited to try different kinds of visual arts. They're not afraid to work until they achieve success!
They come from hard-working, blue collar and Air Force military families who have a great pride in their community and school.
My students don't ask for expensive art supplies...just the basics.
We collect everything from aluminum cans, plastic water bottles, tissue paper rolls, and pine cones for art - just the basics.
My Project
In learning Digital Arts, it is critical that students have cameras to take photos. Currently, my students do not have any cameras that they can use. These cameras will also be of great benefit in my regular Art classes. To be able to keep pace with students in other schools across the country, my students need these cameras. A camera is the backbone in teaching and using many of the apps in Digital Arts. And, being able to work with photographs is an essential element. A camera to a Digital Arts student is as crucial as a pencil is for Art.
