A picture says a thousand words! My students are visual learners. Students will photograph items to write captions and information. Using photographs to generate descriptive writing will help student to connect writing with images. The images will inspire students to use adjectives to describe their photographs.
Students will learn how to point the camera, frame objects and check for proper lighting to make a good photograph.
Students will learn to edit using cropping and special effects to make their illustrations. By learning these skills, student will improve their descriptive writing skills.
