PICTURE IT! Our year in photos! My students would love to document our school year.
My class of 19 second graders attend a public school in Minnesota.
There are 10 girls and 9 boys. They are an enthusiastic group of children eager who want to learn new things! Our class loves to incorporate technology into our learning whenever we can!
My Project
I would take this camera and use it in my everyday classroom. We do so many projects with kids writing a story, then instead of illustrating it out, they take photos and we record voices and put it together in a movie. I have used my personal camera in the past, with fear of the students dropping and breaking it.
The camera would also be used school wide to take photos for our school during concerts, programs (particularly the second grade concert), and school functions. I chose a camera with a good zoom for this sole purpose.
Not only would it change the lives of my 19 children but it would enrich the lives of our entire school (700 kids). What a gift!
Students today are faced with technology at every corner of their young lives.
I want to teach them and enrich their elementary school career. This camera has the potential to capture all those special moments during our school wide functions.
